As a proud adoptive parent myself, I have a passion for the world of adoption. It’s such a wonderful gift! But I know firsthand that the process can be a little overwhelming at times. Putting together a “profile book” and “dear birthmother letter” that an expectant mother will connect with and be drawn to, yet still represents YOU takes a lot of time and effort, and many prospective adoptive parents don’t feel like they can compete with others who are better at the artsy things.

That’s where I come in. I love putting together adoption profiles! There is nothing better than helping someone with a part of building their family!

I will work with you to create a profile and birthmother letter that will truly represent your personality and style. With a strong editing and writing background, I can help you build your letter in a way that will speak to expectant moms and let your words shine. I will build a relationship with you to figure out your stylistic likes and dislikes (do you hate pink and floral patterns? Are you obsessed with stripes?) and come up with a color palette and layout that is truly “you.” As a result, moms who connect with your style will likely take a closer look with your profile!

We’ll work together closely on each page, selecting photos and captions that represent your life well. Your homework is to gather LOTS of clear, high resolution images (I will suggest some good options, and give honest opinions on whether you need to take new photos, especially for the cover photo). I’ll create a full profile based on your agency or facilitator’s requirements, and help you find the best printing options in order to save you money.
